This article was really inspiring and relatable. Although the people involved were Harvard college students, they were students nonetheless. Students who were assigned a project for an engineering class just like how we were assigned a project for our high school physics class. The fact that they were able to do something that can help benefit people all over the world is simply amazing to me. They looked a problem and created a solution. It just goes to show how far an idea can take you.

Mahalo for sharing. It is this kind of thinking that is not really taught in traditional classrooms. Even though this is a very challenging project, I am continually impressed by all groups in their creativity and perseverance. Keep up the great work
ReplyDeleteWow, that video was exactly what we're doing in class.
ReplyDeleteShe incorporated physics to help not just a problem in school, but a problem we have in the world, which is with the poverty in Africa. I think this idea is crazy good and I think that what we're doing in school can really be a big change for the future of our school in that we can maybe do more improvement projects not just for the school, but for the island, state, or even nation in the long run.
